Fencing Supplier

FFC Fencing Company History

In 1974, while attending Purdue University, Chuck Huseman placed a small classified "will build fence" ad in the Lafayette, Indiana, newspaper. This ad generated a few small jobs that were worked on between classes and on weekends. After graduation, a teaching job was found and fencing was done during the summers. By 1981, the fence business had grown to a full-time occupation. With the act of hiring some of the best people available, Chuck transformed "Farm Fencing Co." into the most respected outlet for livestock fencing in the area. Over the years, as the need for livestock fencing declined, a shift was made to residential fencing. In 1981, the first PVC fence was sold and installed. This was the start of the firm's dominance in the new and rapidly growing market of PVC and plastic fencing. To lessen the confusion of the firm's residential and commercial customers, the name of the firm was changed to FFC Fencing Co. in 1990. The firm's lead in the "alternative" fence market has continued to grow to the point that FFC Fencing Co. and Chuck Huseman are known throughout the United States as experts in this field. Inquiries and technical questions continue to come in from manufacturers, distributors and contractors that now see the potential of this market and wish to benefit from FFC's experience.

The FFC Mission Statement

To not only please our customers, but to amaze them with our service and integrity.

To be dedicated to our industry and to keep informed on the latest and best methods and products.

To be a socially and environmentally responsible organization that appreciates our community, our customers, and our employees.

To employ the best possible people to help us achieve these goals.

The best employees = The best organization!

Awards are won by people...ours are tops!

Along with the best people, an organization must be equipped with the right tools to perform a job right. FFC Fencing Co. has the best and most modern equipment available. From the largest commercial job to the smallest back yard, our combination of excellent people and top of the line equipment should be the choice for anyone wanting their project done correctly, and on time.

Examine our equipment below. Each machine has been chosen because it has proven itself to be powerful, efficient, and to be able to complete it's job while leaving a minimal track or mark.

Our fleet of well equipped trucks. If you see a white truck, think FFC! We have found these "Power-tracs" to be ideal for construction in yards and other tight areas. If a lawn mower can get there, so can our Power-Trac. Our "Bobcat" skid steer is ideal for drilling holes on large estate and equestrian style PVC projects. Occasionally, line clearing or substantial site prep work is needed.  Our 90 hp, 4 wheel drive tractor can handle that type of work.

Our 4 wheel drive, articulated loader is equipped with a post driver that hits with 100,000 pounds of impact.  All of our wood posts used in livestock fencing are driven.
